Biography
Before joining Reisenfeld & Associates in February 2011, Mr. Chapman served as an Associate Litigation Attorney with Weltman, Weinberg & Reis in Cincinnati, Ohio, where he concentrated his practice in foreclosure and litigation. While at WWR for nearly a decade, he gained tremendous experience in defense of HOEPA, TILA, RESPA, FCRA and the Ohio and Kentucky Consumer Protection Acts. Additionally, Mr. Chapman marketed services to clients and prospective clients throughout the nation.
Prior to that, Mr. Chapman managed the Cincinnati Office of Mapother & Mapother for five years where he practiced in all aspects of creditors' rights including, foreclosures, real estate closings, bankruptcies, collections and litigation. In the early stages of his career, he focused on general practice with an emphasis on real estate law and domestic relations.
Mr. Chapman has nearly 24 years of experience in creditors' rights law.
Personal
Brian is a lifelong Kentucky resident and currently lives in Highland Heights with his wife. He has one son in college, three step children and two grandchildren. Brian is an avid reader of history and enjoys music. He is very involved in the community as a trustee and treasurer of the Prospect House, a non-profit recovery center for alcoholics and addicts. Additionally, Brian is a volunteer counselor for the Kentucky Lawyers Assistance Program and a blue-bleeding University of Kentucky basketball fan.
