Biography
Before joining Reisenfeld & Associates in March 2009, Ms. Carmer served as in-house counsel and examiner for an Indiana title insurance company, concentrating in foreclosure and REO (real estate owned) properties. Prior to that, Ms. Carmer was an associate attorney at a large creditors’ rights firm in Indianapolis and then a small, general civil practice law office. Ms. Carmer also managed the Document Preparation Department of a Business Banking Loan Center for a three-state region (Indiana, Illinois, and Wisconsin) before beginning her legal career.
Personal
Phyllis grew up in New Jersey but has called Indiana home for quite some time. She enjoys pyrography, sewing, making wooden door harps, gardening and walking her four dogs all at once. Phyllis and her husband restore hot rods in their spare time and enjoy cruising on Saturday nights.
